Orders are the foundation of your delivery operations. This guide covers everything you need to know about creating and managing orders in EvoDax.
Creating a New Order
- Navigate to Orders in the sidebar
- Click Create Order (top right)
- Fill in the order details:
Required Information
- Customer - Select the customer placing the order
- Delivery Address - Where the order goes (auto-fills from customer if set)
- Scheduled Date - When the delivery should occur
Optional Information
- Time Window - Preferred delivery time (e.g., 9 AM - 12 PM)
- Priority - Normal, High, or Urgent
- Order Items - Products being delivered
- Notes - Special instructions for the driver
- Click Create Order
Order Types
EvoDax supports different order types:

Adding Order Items
If you track products:
- Click Add Item in the order form
- Search for the product
- Enter the quantity
- (Optional) Set special handling requirements
Items help with:
- Weight/volume calculations for routing
- Inventory deduction
- Invoice generation
Order Actions
From the order detail page:
- Edit - Modify order details
- Cancel - Cancel the order
- Duplicate - Create a similar order
- Add to Route - Assign to a delivery route
- Print - Generate a picking slip or label
Quick Order Creation
For repeat orders:
- Go to the customer profile
- Click Quick Order
- Previous order details are pre-filled
- Modify as needed and submit
Or use Order Templates for frequently repeated orders.
Bulk Import
For multiple orders:
- Go to Orders > Import
- Download the template CSV
- Fill in your orders
- Upload the file
- Review and confirm
Tips
- Set default time windows in Settings to save time
- Use priorities to ensure urgent orders are routed first
- Add driver notes for special delivery instructions
- Check order status regularly from the Orders page
